Find Work as a Virtual Assistant
I think one of the best ways to find work as a Virtual Assistant is to specialize in a specific skill set that solves a specific problem that you know many small businesses have. Then you need to still promote yourself.
I have worked with many remote workers for many years and I have never hired a virtual assistant. Instead, I have hired writers, programmers, book keepers, WordPress specialists, SEO and Linking experts, social media specialists and more. But I am not sure what I would ask a virtual assistant to do.
Sure, there are times I wish I had one, but without a well defined set of tasks, I would feel like I had to be creative to keep the virtual assistant busy.
Instead, I hire people that can solve specific problems for me. I do not hire the cheapest person – instead I hire the best person that can solve the problem within my expected budget.
Do you see the difference? If you are trying to find work as a virtual assistant you may be able to switch your offering to something more specific and find that it is a lot easier to find work at home opportunities.
