Is Virtual Assistant a Bad Career?
I know that from past posts, this one will no doubt cause some negative comments back. I think being a virtual assistant is great. However, it is a weird “catch all” kind of job description.
You are most likely going to get paid much more by being something else more specialized. Here are some titles I would pay more for, even though the job would be exactly the same.
- Virtual Project Manager
- Virtual Support Specialist
- Virtual Social Media Assistant
- Virtual Marketing Assistant
- Backlinking Specialist
- Virtual Affiliate Manager
- Virtual Bookkeeper
You can see that any of those jobs would consist of the same kinds of activities that many virtual assistants do, but they appear to be more valuable because they are focused and make me, as a buyer, feel like you know what you are doing.
